How to find YouTube collaboration partners in your niche
Compare audience fit, recent uploads and a realistic joint format before you pitch another YouTube creator.
Start with the audience, then the channel size
Write one sentence describing who your videos serve and why those viewers return. A manhwa recap channel should start with other story and manhwa creators whose viewers enjoy similar plots, languages and formats. A dog-training channel serves a different need, even if its subscriber count looks attractive.
Review several recent uploads rather than one viral video. Look at the topics, video length, language and conversation in the comments. Subscriber counts help estimate channel size; they do not prove that your viewers overlap.
Offer a format that works for both channels
A useful pitch explains the viewer benefit and the work each creator would do. For example, two story channels could compare their approaches to character development using their own original examples. Each channel gets a complete video, a reason to mention the other creator and a clear release plan.
Specify the format, approximate length, who supplies assets, how credits and links will appear, and a realistic schedule. Avoid promising a particular number of views or subscribers. You can agree on deliverables; the audience decides whether to watch.
Send a short, specific introduction
Mention one relevant video, explain the audience overlap and suggest one joint idea. Ask whether the creator wants to compare fit before sending a large brief. A template is a starting point: replace the placeholders and remove anything you cannot honestly offer.
In CreatorFound, use the collaboration listings and creator profiles to review fit, then start an in-app conversation. A connected channel helps keep your public channel information current. A listing or invitation is the beginning of a conversation, not a guarantee of a response.
Agree on permissions before production
Confirm who owns each recording, which clips each channel may reuse, how approval works and how either person can withdraw before publication. Discuss payment or exchanged promotion explicitly if it is involved. Keep the first collaboration small enough that both creators can finish it comfortably.
